Shit, I've posted 15 videos with "fuck" in the title. None of those bothered them?
Don't get me wrong dag, I'm not at all mad at you. It's the advertisers I'm mad at, and I'm pissed about them putting you in a vice. I understand that no ad revenue might mean no VideoSift. Fuck, are there are any other big advertisers you could replace them with?
And to all of the members: Is there anyone out there that could connect VS with some other advertisers? I'm not in the biz, but maybe some of you are, or maybe you know someone who is. Let's help out dag so that we can this site free of pressure from asshole sponsors.

Dudes, I don't want to interfere with your ability to make a little cash with this site, but are we going to let advertisers dictate what is acceptable? Shit, we're already one of the more tasteful video sites on the web. We don't post any porn or snuff. Sure, there's a lot of stuff that's R-Rated, but so what? That's the freaking internet!
This isn't the fucking American Family Association's web site.

Annotated/ad-laden/hijacked videos (Commercial Talk Post)
1. They can ignore them as much as possible and still watch the video to the end, and then vote accordingly
2. They can immediately navigate away from the video if the annotations annoy them, and not cast a vote
3. They can downvote because they absolutely hate annotations, and navigate away.
I hope people don't choose the third option, because I have a feeling we're going to see a LOT more videos with annotations in the future.
It's just like how we allow videos to be posted with advertising at the beginning. Some people here refuse to watch them, and I respect that. Basically it's a call that will have to be handled at an individual level. I don't think a broad policy is the solution, IMHO.

No, you're not the worst person to ask, or I wouldn't have asked you. I liked it because I thought it was trying to express how we try to quantify people, thus taking away their individuality. Then again, I may be the worst person to ask.

Hmm, it's very pretty to look at, draws you in and makes you keep watching, because the animation is so unique. But all in all, it does nothing for me, it's far too abstract, if the blurb wasn't underneath for me to read, I wouldn't of had a clue what to make of it, which sort of doesn't count in terms of being able to appreciate something for me. Then again, i'm probably the worst person to ask

I'd like to know what you think of it. I thought it was cool because it was different, but before I elaborate and possibly skew your perception I'll let you watch it first.
