^Eh? Not exactly sure what that's supposed to mean, but Iraq was Banned by the International Olympic Committee, not the US. Supposedly due to chicanery inside the Iraqi government. I've not really heard specifics on why just a few broad reasons. At any rate, very unfortunate for the athletes that were working to go there.
